Since last 8 years, Amber Palace Indian Restaurant always organises special Holi events where hundreds of people participate and experience playing with vibrant colours, traditional Indian buffet spreads, lively music, and live Indian dance performances from Amber Palace , creating an immersive experience reminiscent of the celebrations in India.
 
Guests from diverse backgrounds come together, breaking barriers, and embracing the spirit of unity and joy. The event garners attention from various media outlets, becoming a highlight in the city’s social calendar. We started the event in Xian and as we expanded to other cities, we are organising the event in Wuhan,Xining and Kunming too in March 2024. Special themes and decorations adorn the restaurant, invoking the essence of Krishna’s divine playfulness. Pooja ceremonies and cultural performances deepen the understanding of Indian mythology and spirituality. It is surprising to see devotees of Lord Krishna participating from different ethnicities with great knowledge and wisdom of the great Bhagwat Gita.

The presence of a grand Ganesha idol at the entrance of Amber Palace symbolizes auspicious beginnings and blessings for all who enter. Today every location of Amber Palace starts from a big Lord Ganesha’s idol where all the employees offer the prayers before opening of the restaurant.
 

Guests are intrigued by the symbolism and significance of Lord Ganesha, sparking conversations and curiosity about Hindu traditions. Special prayers and delectable desserts and Modaks (traditional sweet dumplings with coconut and jaggery filling) are prepared by our chefs to honour the beloved elephant god

Special events and firecracker display create a spectacle that dazzles patrons across all Amber Palace locations. A sumptuous Diwali buffet if prepared by Amber Palace master chefs to suit every taste bud, showcasing the diversity of Indian cuisine. Traditional Diwali prayers are scheduled where people from all communities and Indian diaspora love to participate for the celebration.

Despite most local guests are non-vegetarian , Amber Palace embraces the spirit of Navratri’s by offering special vegetarian menus to cater to diverse dietary preferences. Vegetarian and vegan food is gaining popularity and China is also not left behind.
